Accessibility Statement

Bounceville Melbourne LLC

Effective Date: May 1, 2025

Last Updated: May 1, 2025

Bounceville Melbourne LLC ("Bounceville," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to making our facility, services, and website accessible to everyone, including guests with disabilities. We believe every child deserves the chance to have an amazing birthday party and play day, regardless of ability — and we're continually working to improve the accessibility of everything we do.

Our Commitment

We are committed to:

  • Providing a welcoming, inclusive environment for guests of all abilities

  • Ensuring our website conforms with widely accepted accessibility standards

  • Training our staff to assist guests with disabilities respectfully and effectively

  • Making reasonable accommodations whenever possible

  • Continually improving as we learn and grow

Website Accessibility

We strive to ensure that our website meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, including:

  • Visual impairments (blindness, low vision, color blindness)

  • Hearing impairments

  • Mobility impairments

  • Cognitive and learning disabilities

Our website is hosted on Wix, which provides built-in accessibility features. We work to ensure our content includes:

  • Descriptive alternative text for images

  • Sufficient color contrast for readability

  • Keyboard navigation for users who cannot use a mouse

  • Clear page structure with proper headings

  • Readable font sizes and styles

  • Forms with clear labels and error messages

  • Captions or transcripts for video content where possible

We acknowledge that not all areas of our website may yet meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards in every respect, and we are actively working to address any gaps. If you encounter an accessibility barrier on our website, please let us know — see "Contact Us" below.

Facility Accessibility

Our physical facility at 1986 N Wickham Rd, Melbourne, FL 32935 is designed to comply with applicable provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Florida accessibility codes. We are committed to providing accessible parking, entry, restrooms, and party rooms.

We do our best to provide:

  • Accessible parking near our main entrance

  • A step-free, wheelchair-accessible entry

  • Accessible restrooms

  • Wide aisles and walkways throughout the facility

  • Service animal accommodation in accordance with the ADA

  • Reasonable assistance for guests with disabilities upon request

Activity Participation and Safety

For safety reasons, certain inflatable attractions and active play equipment have manufacturer-defined height, weight, and physical ability requirements. These restrictions apply equally to all guests and are not intended to exclude guests with disabilities — they exist to ensure participant safety.

We are happy to:

  • Discuss accommodations in advance of your visit

  • Suggest activities suited to your child's needs

  • Allow companions or aides to accompany guests at no additional charge

  • Make reasonable adjustments to party schedules and activities where possible

If you or your child has specific accessibility needs we should know about, please contact us before your visit so we can prepare and offer the best possible experience.

Service Animals

Trained service animals are welcome in all public areas of our facility, in accordance with the ADA. For the safety of the animal and other guests, service animals are not permitted on inflatable attractions or active play surfaces. Please inform a staff member upon arrival so we can accommodate you appropriately.

Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and pets are not classified as service animals under the ADA and are not permitted in our facility.

Sensory Considerations

We understand that loud music, bright lights, and large crowds can be overwhelming for some guests, particularly those with sensory sensitivities, autism spectrum disorders, or anxiety. We are exploring options to better serve these guests in the future, including:

  • Dedicated sensory-friendly hours with reduced lighting and sound

  • Quiet spaces during open play

  • Advance information about what to expect during a visit

If your family would benefit from a quieter or modified experience, please contact us — we will do our best to accommodate.

Communication Accessibility

If you need information from us in an alternative format (large print, plain text, etc.) or need assistance booking, please contact us directly. We are happy to:

  • Walk you through the booking process by phone

  • Read content aloud or describe what's available

  • Help complete forms or waivers

  • Arrange other reasonable communication accommodations

Ongoing Improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We regularly review our website, facility, and operations to identify and address accessibility barriers. As a new business, we welcome feedback from our community to help us serve everyone better.

Feedback and Requests

If you experience an accessibility barrier on our website, in our facility, or with our services — or if you have suggestions for how we can do better — we want to hear from you. Please contact us with:

  • A description of the issue or barrier

  • The page or area where it occurred (for website issues)

  • The accommodation you are requesting (if applicable)

  • The best way to reach you

We will respond within 15 business days. Most issues can be resolved quickly. For more complex requests, we will provide an estimated timeline.

Third-Party Services

Our website and services rely on certain third-party platforms — including our booking system (Bookedin), our payment processor, and our hosting platform (Wix). While we choose providers committed to accessibility, we do not control their websites or interfaces directly. If you experience accessibility issues with a third-party service while interacting with Bounceville, please let us know and we will work with the provider or find an alternative way to assist you.
